Historic Buildings of Champaign Walking Tour

Join us to explore the history of downtown Champaign through an in-depth look at some of Champaign's historic structures and locations. Learn about some of the devastating fires that shaped downtown, along with some of our community's favorite businesses. This tour is perfect for community members looking to reminisce and reconnect with their memories of the past and new community members looking to learn a little more about their new community's story.

The tour travels around a mile and a half and takes approximately an hour and a half to complete. We ask that guests park their vehicles in the police station parking lot to the North of the Champaign County History Museum. We will meet at the CCHM to begin the tour. The tour will start at the designated time so please plan to arrive at the museum at least ten minutes before the tour is set to begin.
