About the event

Join us for our last member benefit of 2025 at the historic Tiernan Block in downtown Urbana. This building has an extensive history within the community, being built in 1871. At that time, the community knew it as a grocer, a drug store, offices, and a grand opera hall on the top floors. The opera hall was short-lived, and in 1887, the Urbana Masons purchased the building to house their lodge. More recently, our community has known it as Crane Alley and Encanto. Explore the historic Opera Hall and this landmark building, and celebrate our local heritage. Food will be catered by Encanto,   accompanied by presentations from the museum's committees and interns. You MUST be a member to attend this event. You can become a member beforehand or at the door.
