As our way of saying thank you to our members, we host our yearly "History on the Town" social event. We find a historic location somewhere in Champaign County and invite all of our members to explore behind the scenes. This is a great way to explore and socialize with fellow members and history lovers!

Join us at the historic Tiernan Block in downtown Urbana at 115 W Main St! When the building opened in 1871 the upper floors were used as an opera hall and later became the long-time home of the Urbana Masons. Most recently it's been known as Crane Alley and now Encanto. Get a chance to tour the upper floors and enjoy food catered by Encanto! You must be a member to join and you can become one beforehand or at the door.
